• I always look forward to Jim Korkis' next Vault of Walt book, but especially looked forward to this Volume 7 due to it being a CHRISTMAS EDITION. I've always enjoyed the various media that Disney has used to celebrate Christmas - from their cartoons, films, and TV shows to their comic books, newspaper comic strips, and their theme parks. Usually, my review directs you to the LOOK INSIDE! access where lists the contents of the book, but - this time - only the first page of Contents is listed. The book is over twice as long as indicated by the first page of contents. The second contents page shows 10 Disney Park Stories, including the first Disneyland Christmas of 1955 and the first Walt Disney World Christmas of 1971. The contents page also shows 8 Mouse-ce-llaneous Stories, including the Disney Christmas Comic Strip, the Firestone Christmas Giveaway Comic Books, and the Walt Disney's Christmas Parade Comic Books. Jim Korkis shares a wide variety of Christmas details that are interesting, informative, and entertaining. This book is a superb exploration of Disney and Christmas, crammed full of Jim Korkis' historical facts.
